Duties This position directs and coordinates all aspects of the elevator operations to ensure business objectives are met with respect to safety, product output, quality, reliability, efficiency, compliance and cost. Sets operational goals and monitors progress. Develops departmental budgets and tracks performance. Experience/Educational Requirements5 years leadership experience in the grain elevation industry, or related field. General Qualifications: • Provides general direction to the and oversees the work of the elevator, by establishing and assuring adherence to specified operating, maintenance and safety practices and procedures and managing those activities. • Promotes and collaboratively work with Director of Maintenance for ways to enhance establish preventative maintenance activities and goals in elevator operations • Maintains/manages grain quality, integrity or other company initiated grain management programs • Maintain inventory in a way that is easily communicated to the end user • Develops short and long-range grain storage/management goals and objects which includes traceability . • Open to new ideas that may not be industry standard • Maintain/manage rail operations to include rolling stock maintenance and repair, track and track component maintenance and repair and car leasing. • Meets or exceeds food safety inspection evaluations internally and/or externally • Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives. • Determines departmental expenditures reductions and allocates operating budgets. • Act as a liaison with grain producers. • Responsible for food safety and quality
