Triumph Foods, a world class leader of fresh pork is currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist to provide support and leadership to the Recruitment, HR Technologies, and Training functions within the organization. The HR Specialist will oversee the Company’s college recruitment programs, serve as a subject matter expert with regard to HR technologies, and support the Training organization delivering new hire acclimation and training programs. Specific Duties & Responsibilities include: Developing clear college recruitment plans which include but are not limited to developing strong relationships with a variety of colleges and universities. Determining annual intern and direct hire needs. Scheduling campus visits each Fall and Spring. Attending university career fairs, interviewing on campus and assisting with the organization and execution of office visits for final selection of candidates. Acting as a consultant to Hiring Managers to assess and acquire talent. Working with leadership to develop a meaningful intern and direct hire experience. Monitoring and evaluating outcomes of the programs. Partnering with College/University staff to reach specific student populations. Responsible for communications with the campus teams and candidates throughout the recruitment process. Initiating offers and processing candidates to include conducting background check and substance screening. Documenting and maintain data in ATS, shared drives, and tracking documents as needed. Have capacity to learn and act as a subject matter expert with HR technologies such as applicant tracking systems, onboarding systems, and training and development systems. Continuously seek opportunities to implement process improvements to enhance hiring manager and candidate experience and expand the program. Assist with training and development processes for new employees. Develops reports from HRIS systems and performs analysis on results. Creates professional presentations with data mined from various systems and reports. Administrative duties as needed, includes processing invoices and expenses for program, providing data tracking to monitor process, completing survey requests from colleges and universities as regarding all internship and FT hires and assisting with special business needs. Education & Experience: Preferred four (4) year degree. One (1) to three (3) years of professional work experience. Strong reading comprehension, communication and analytical skills required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and prefer experience with HRIS Systems (i.e., SAP, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, or similar systems). Must be self-motivated, committed to performing quality work and able to work within a team environment. Must be a detail-oriented and an effective performer, who manages time well and processes quickly. Must have outstanding organization and communication skills. Must be willing to travel up to 25% to universities within the Midwest region, attend local functions and job fairs. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit, stand, move about the facility to meet employees where they work and organize events, use hands to perform computer work and hold objects, speak, and hear. Employee may occasionally lift, push/pull up to forty (40) pounds. Work Environment: The work environment would normally be an office setting but also requires trips through the entire facility which would include climate extremes.
