Part-Time Customer Service Associate

Preferred Pest Control currently has an opening for a Part Time Customer Service Associate. Be the first contact to help resolve customer’s pest concerns. Our Administrative Assistants are courteous, knowledgeable and empathetic to the caller’s anxieties over these pest concerns and make the customers feel confident that their concerns will be handled promptly and professionally. In addition to being our customer’s first contact, Administrative Assistants will be supporting Sales professionals, Office management and Service Technicians This position will require an individual who is self-motivated, well-spoken, organized and detailed. The individual should be well-versed in customer service and excellent phone skills. Sales experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess good people skills and the ability to multi-task. Duties include: • Maintain good customer relations both on the phone and in person • Gather information from customers to help identify and solve problems • Set appointments for customers • Make Collection Calls • Complete general clerical duties as assigned • Work as a team with Service Technicians • Enter new accounts, contracts, and cancellations into database • Answer phone in a professional manner; record all pertinent information • Dispatch customer service requests to appropriate technician • Utilize appropriate office equipment • Organize daily tasks and work area • Light janitorial duties This position will be for approximately 20 hours a week during our normal business hours, M-F 8-5. Must enjoy talking on the phone as this will be a priority for this position.
