Position Overview:
The position requires an individual who has knowledge of the financial services business and who is committed to being part of a team that delivers a comprehensive client solution. This individual must be dedicated to building long-term relationships with clients and have strong communication skills. They must be reliable, organized and deadline driven. A qualified applicant must be dedicated, goal-oriented, and able to work well in a self-directed and collaborative environment. Since financial planning is the foundation of what we do for clients; a passion for financial planning is crucial for a successful candidate. Must be able to learn and articulate the story of the practice.
As an Associate Wealth Planner, you will:
· Support lead advisor with clients
· Handle certain client relationships independently.
· Lead in answering routine client questions
· Compiles and analyzes client data to develop financial plans
· Participates in client meetings
· Creates agendas for client meetings, takes notes and delegates follow up activities
· Supports the preparation for all client meetings
· Supports in the efficient and effective completion of service requests
· Accountable for the retention of existing client relationships
· Builds rapport with clients
· Assists in maintaining a compliant practice
· Tax gain/loss analysis
· Makes outgoing client courtesy calls
· Provide back up support to all team members when necessary
· Update client info as necessary in CRM to ensure integrity of database
· Handle various client requests
· Handles complex issues and problems
· Ensure clients are receiving a best in class experience from the firm
· Support special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Progress toward or completion of CFP® certification preferred.
0–2 years of experience in financial planning, investment management, or a similar
role.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Willingness to learn various financial planning software.
