  Looking to become a member of a dynamic team for a regional organization with a tremendous reputation and a mission to serve? Second Harvest Community Food Bank is seeking its next Children’s Initiative & Volunteer Coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating the safe handling, and distribution of food through Second Harvest's Children's Initiatives. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining a volunteer database, hosting volunteer groups, and helping recruit volunteers through various community organizations.

Seeking Candidates with:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; Demonstrated experience to perform necessary functions of the job required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Excellent public speaking and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as a team to meet goals and objectives
• Ability to work some nights and weekends
