General Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Mill Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day Ameri-Mills production. As a key member of the production team and a working supervisor, this individual will be responsible for all mill operations, onsite FSQR, and for ensuring the efficient, safe handling and receipt of all ingredients into the facility and for the processing activities within the facility.

Mechanical knowledge and basic maintenance experience are a plus

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:
Coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods for Ameri-Mills
Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments and locations
Lead daily meetings concerning production, food safety, and human safety
Maintain timecards and attendance records, as well as help maintain working personnel folders for each direct report with the Location Manager and Operations Director
Plan production schedule utilizing ERP system to coordinate activities of the employees and meet customer demands
Work closely with the Location Manager on hiring, terminating, advising, training, and reviewing employees
Basic equipment maintenance as required
Investigate inventory discrepancies and seek out solutions for those issues
Maintain paperwork and logs, including anything pertaining to batch records
Work with the FSQR team to conduct daily onsite quality tasks and utilize their help to enforce food and sanitation regulations
Report material, product, or equipment defects/malfunctions, assure cleanliness and safety
Demonstrate equipment operations, work, and safety procedures to new employees
Work with Safety Manager to complete safety training, comply with safety rules, and ensure the working environment is safe for all colleagues
Observe work, and monitor all other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production, processing, and food safety standards
Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems and concerns
Report all equipment, facility, personnel, safety, and other issues immediately
Serve as backup to all positions under your direct report; and other positions as required
Monitor incoming materials needed for production. Close jobs when Production Planning Manager is not available
Ensure compliance with all Food Safety Guidelines, Ameri-Pac work rules, Ameri-Pac Standard Operating Procedures, FDA and OSHA guidelines, as well as Federal and State laws governing the workplace
Other duties as assigned
Compensation and Benefits:
In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $53,000 – $75,000 per year. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
