Title of Position:
Position: Truck Driver / Maintenance Reports to: Production Manager Overview: Make customer deliveries in a timely and courteous manner. Keep company truck clean. Notify Production Manager when maintenance of truck is needed (oil change, tune up, etc.). Clean all employee and staff restrooms in compliance with OSHA regulations. Order and purchase all cleaning supplies, as approved by the Production Manager. Handle all hazardous waste materials per our Bloodborne Pathogens Policy. Perform basic repairs of building and/or equipment; perform duties as outlined in Building Maintenance Plan. Report all major repair problems immediately to President/CEO. Responsible for: Job deliveries and general building upkeep. Developing tools and dies to perform job tasks. Covering for Dock Supervisor: Assist with dock supervision when necessary. Authorized employee in lock-out/tag-out procedure Assist as assigned in emergency procedures Truck Driver / Maintenance may be assigned other duties for the smooth flow of information and production. Be C.P.R. certified. Certificates necessary immediately upon employment and continued recertification will be required. Qualifications (Education, Skills, Abilities): High School Diploma and 3 years related work experience. Ability to manage multiple projects. Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written. Strong interpersonal skills required. Able to meet outlined objectives. Maintain current chauffeur license and good driving record Operate a forklift and be certified through OSHA Safety Certification and maintain certification. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis. Bending, lifting and stacking of product boxes of varying weights. This job does require you to be on your feet all day as well as be outside in all weather conditions. Daily getting in and out of a delivery truck. This job is physically strenuous.
