Information and Referral Communications Specialist
MERIL is seeking a full-time Information and Referral Communications Specialist. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion to improve the lives of those who are aging or have a disability. This individual will be responsible for providing Information and Referral services, will direct Independent Living Services to individuals who are aging, have disabilities, or who otherwise experience communications barriers, and will promote the use of assistive technology to help people live independently and to be as active as they desire in the community. The successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Professional experience working with those who are deaf/hard of hearing, and experience with assistive technology and American Sign Language are highly desirable.
