Information & Referral Specialist
MERIL is seeking a full time Information and Referral Specialist. This position requires a dynamic individual with a passion to improve the lives of those who are aging or have a disability.
This individual will be responsible providing Information and Referral services and direct Independent Living Services to individuals who are aging, have disabilities, or who otherwise experience communications barriers. This individual will promote the use of assistive technology to help people live independently and to be as active as they desire in the community.
The successful candidate should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A bachelor’s degree in a human services field is required. Professional experience working with those who are deaf/hard of hearing, and experience with assistive technology and American Sign Language are highly desirable.
