Title of Position:
Operations Analyst 1st and 2nd Shift

Summary: The Operations Analyst is responsible for learning, supporting and maintaining daily operation transactions within the plant floor system (CAT2) and ERP(M3) systems. This is a PM position that will monitor all transaction moving through the system and will troubleshoot and solve problems when necessary. Will work closely with finance to understand the impact of all processes impacting actual cost measures. Will perform duties of the AM Operation Analyst as their primary backup. Will support operations in education, data tracking and support continuous improvements with an emphasis towards sustaining solid standardization for systems measures. Job Function: Learn and understand the Daily's manufacturing value stream processes. Provide functional and business process leadership to support the start of new innovation ideas and new product start-ups. Actively participate in planning, leadership, and testing of assigned software applications through coordination of the Plant Analyst. Working in conjunction with the IT group and Daily's Analyst group in other locations to communicate system defects and enhancements. Continuously gain an understanding of the company's operations and business processes and how systems are used in support of those areas. Be a positive role model and support team members in the training execution of system processes. Troubleshoot ERP problems, interact with external/internal customers and take ownership of issues. Support in the creation and implementation of SOPs( Standard Operating Procedures) towards sustaining system reliability. Provide guidance to team members and each value stream department head. Provide continuously improvement support for operations tracking and analyzing data from the floor and offering ideas for improvement Review manufacturing orders for accurate reporting of components and actual costing in preparation of shipments. Review and investigate root causes to following files and reports to maintain accurate inventories: BOD( Business Object Documents) Daily reconcile reports (M3) SQL Server Reporting Services Learn and utilize Microsoft Excel to effectively communicate departmental results to end users and be able to understand XLM file structure to troubleshoot error bods. Learn and understand the associated list or BOM (Bill of Materials) for proper setup in the configuration of a product. Support with plant testing and yield discoveries. Other duties as assigned by management. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school degree required; one year certificate from college or technical school; or two years or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, candidates and the general public. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to operate Word, Excel, and other Microsoft office program. Ability to operate basic office equipment. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lift 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to efficiently and effectively move to all areas of production. Must be able to climb ladders or platforms. Must be able to wear all safety and production related equipment. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work environment varies from an office setting, production floor and outside climate conditions, based on the situation. Noise level may vary within areas of the plant. Must be able to tolerate cold (45 degrees or colder) and wet conditions. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: Normal hours will be 7:00 AM -4:00 PM.or 2:30 pm-12:00 am The hours and days of work are established as needed by operations and at the discretion of management and may be adjusted (increased or decreased) by management as required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as necessary.
