POSITION CONCEPT: The Part-Time, Program Coordinator will operate within established procedures and guidelines by providing administrative and hands-on support in areas related to Programs, Special Events, and other projects as needed. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provide program support at JA events that includes delivering a strong customer service experience and problem-solving skills.  Recruit teachers and volunteers to participate in Junior Achievement  Maintain database information on all programs and participants by accurately recording event confirmations of students, teachers and volunteers.  Write grants and assist with fundraising  Prepare program materials for volunteer training and orientation activities..  Provide telephone and email communication to volunteers, teachers, and community members.  Other projects as required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  High school diploma or equivalent. Oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, organization and planning skills, and evidence of problem solving and creative ability. Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Access and Excel), and can function effectively under pressure.
