Duties: Responsible for planning, coordinating and scheduling of fabricated items, sub-assemblies and finished goods to best satisfy the current plan. Ensures that purchased and manufactured materials are available for production in a timely manner and resolves problems with inventory, production schedule and BOM or material shortages. Effectively communicates with all departments any issues that may affect the production plan.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience: Two year degree in business administration; minimum of two years’ experience in a production planning/materials control function or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications: Requires effective people skills and the ability to communicate well with others. Excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to multi-task required as well. Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases is a must. Previous experience with an MRP system preferred. |
