Description:
  The Drying Specialist is responsible for the operation of specialized equipment and systems designed for the low temperature drying of Amaferm products.

Accountabilities:
– Monitor critical control points in the Amaferm drying process
– Perform analysis as required
– Manage all performance measures related to drying
– Complete the kitting process as manufacturing jobs (lot code batches) are completed
– Assisting with Inventory for AO, Wheat Bran, and IGR
– Maintain Amaferm levels to support production needs
– Understand and operate control logic processor for drying technology
– Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area by keeping tools and equipment in proper places and all materials off the floor of the area
– Follow all standard operating procedures as well as requirements set by SFSF, NASC and FAMI-QS
– Manage time for most effective way to utilize it for accountable growth
– Know one's culture index and utilize daily in all aspect of work
– Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
– Participates in team huddles and CONNECTS
– Compliant with all PPE policies
– Completes all checklists as required
– Notifies management of any material issues
– Maintains a positive and respectful attitude during all aspects of work including emails, phone calls, and peer interactions
– Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
– Ability to pass a written and driving exam to prove capability of safely driving a forklift
– At least 2 years of experience in the manufacturing of premixes in an industrial/manufacturing environment
– Physically able to lift and move 50lb. on a regular reoccurring basis
– Willing and able to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) (i.e. hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs)
– Willing and able to work off hours, overtime, weekends, and holidays, as needed

Other Qualifications:
Required educations:
– High school diploma or GED
Required work experiences
– Experience managing projects
– Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word (to
write business correspondence), Excel (for use of spreadsheets,
reporting, simple formulas) and Outlook (for internal and external
correspondence)
