  An exciting opportunity exists for a GRAPHIC DESIGNER at MBFi, St Joseph, MO. The Graphic Designer will need a natural eye for design and be responsible for creating content associated with products and packaging, monthly digital marketing activity, as well as key marketing campaigns and promotions, and/or product launches, on different platforms including website content, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.

You will be required to continuously generate content as well as take part in team brainstorm sessions to come up with new ideas for content and campaigns. You will also need to be able to take the feedback from your Manager and team, and supply reverts in accordance with the change requests effectively and efficiently.

It will also be your responsibility to remain up-to-date with the latest trends online, making sure that we are keeping up with changes in requirements and capabilities on digital platforms.

Full time salary position, with hours 7 – 4 Monday to Friday. Available for immediate start. Previous experience within the agricultural sector would be beneficial but limited to no experience in this environment in also acceptable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• Work alongside the MBFi Team to produce visual concepts as well as design and develop graphics (labels, packaging, brochures, signage, video, corporate wear, etc.) in support of the various marketing objectives.
• Develop creative content and assets on time.
• Remain alert of changes in brand look and feel, such a logo placement, etc, and apply consistently throughout.
• Work with a wide range of media and use the Adobe design suite to develop the desired content, including video editing and/or animation based creative work, for video-first platforms such as digital advertising etc.
• Think creatively and strive always to improve upon existing templates, where required/applicable/necessary.
• Amend designs to brand and team feedback until final approval is received.
• Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for various platforms, from social media pages to website (static website design/population).
• Design and creation of marketing material for events (agricultural exhibitions, farm/field days).

TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
• Excellent skills in the Adobe Design Suite including video editing and animation.
• Displays knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms and their various creative requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS
• 2+ years’ experience designing and implementing creative content.
