Midwest Mobile Radio Service, Inc. is a locally owned independent Motorola Solutions authorized two-way radio communications dealer located in St. Joseph, MO since 1953. We have an opening for a Full-Time Outside Sales Representative.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to sell Motorola Solutions communications equipment to new and existing clients in our territory. This position will make sales to both private industry and public entities.
Duties/Requirements/Knowledge:
– Prepare and present sales proposals to customers
– Prospect for sales opportunities
– Make site and facility visits to observe and determine communications needs and possible solutions
– Provide monthly sales forecasts
-Attend new product training as needed
– Two-Way radio outside sales experience is desired
– Willingness and ability to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunities
– Ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value to the customer
– Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
– Organized and ability to multi-task
– Knowledge of two-way radio industry trends and best practices is a plus
– Write proposals and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP)
– Product and service knowledge of telecommunications and technical skills related to RF design and services is a plus
– Position requires traveling to client locations in our territory
– Must be an excellent listener with the ability to build successful business relationships
– Maintain professional relationships with all customers and business partners
– Valid Drivers License and transportation required
This is a base + commission job.
We pay mileage and provide a cell phone and business computer.
