As the Director of Sales for News-Press Media Group, you will be responsible for leading our print and broadcast sales teams in local, national, and political areas, along with driving revenue growth across all our multimedia platforms. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement sales strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to drive performance and achieve sales goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and revenue streams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and advertising agencies.
• Collaborate with other departments, e.g. marketing and news, to develop integrated sales solutions
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
• Use research on the local market to determine annual budgetary needs/opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
· Proven experience in media/advertising sales, or related role within a news or multimedia organization.
· Strong leadership and team-building skills.
· Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
· Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and industry trends.
· Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
· Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills.
· Possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and maintain reliable, insured transportation.
· Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as needed.
· Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Compensation will be set based on experience. This position requires in-office work and does not offer a remote or hybrid schedule. Employment is contingent on the passage of a drug screen and background check.
