Position Information:
NPG is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic IT Administrator with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who is willing to take on new opportunities. The IT Administrator will be based out of our corporate office in St. Joseph, Missouri, and will help support NPG employees in several locations throughout the U.S.
As a member of the NPG IT Team, you will provide end-user support for NPG employees from broadcast, online education, and technology infrastructure companies across the country, ensuring they have the tools and assistance they need to succeed. Your daily duties will involve resolving service tickets through our ticket system by phone and email. You'll be the go-to person for administering and troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems, replacing failed hardware, and deploying new equipment. You'll also manage our hardware inventory, install and troubleshoot software, and administer our company's email environment.
Additionally, you'll work closely with broadcast engineers, other technical personnel, and third-party vendors to keep everything running smoothly. Providing excellent customer support will be a crucial aspect of your role, ensuring our team can operate effectively and efficiently.

A high school diploma or GED is required and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or certifications is preferred. Candidates with previous IT Service Desk or Helpdesk experience is a plus, specifically with experience in network troubleshooting, cloud hosting environments, Active Directory, administering Windows Server and virtualization, but it is not required. You must hold, or be able to obtain, a valid Missouri driver’s license with an acceptable MVR and adequate insurance. Participation in a shared 24×7 on-call rotation is required. Of utmost importance is excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must also pass a background check and drug screening.
