Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced tax accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation, excellent analytical skills, an the ability to manage multiple client engagements independently.
Key Responsibilities:
-Preparation and review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
-Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law changes.
-Assist clients with tax planning strategies to help minimize liabilities.
-Respond to IRS and state tax notices and audits.
Qualifications
-Minimum of 1 year of previous of tax return preparation.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
-Experience in QuickBooks is highly desired.
-Preference given to candidates who possess CPA license.
-Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
